I just finished moving my site to WordPress. I’ll still be ironing out the features and design, but hopefully this site will make posting news about my projects both easier & more visible.
My track “Ultraviolet“ is featured in the short film Atlantis, written and directed by Matthew Ornstein. The film “dramatizes the final space shuttle launch and its significance in the history of space exploration for all mankind.”
Atlantis will be screening at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival today, January 30th, and this Friday, February 3rd. Screening details are available here.

At last! The Criterion Collection will be releasing a collection of classic films by Hollis Frampton on Blu-ray this spring. A Hollis Frampton Odyssey arrives April 9th, 2012.
Experimental filmmaker Robert Nelson died earlier this week. His films, which displayed a remarkable combination of humor, wit, playfulness, and accessibility - all rare things in the avant-garde - have had an enormous impact on me and countless other artists. With the assistance of film preservationist Mark Toscano, I screened his film Bleu Shut at Northwestern University’s Block Cinema in 2006. It’s truly one of the best and most revolutionary films I’ve ever seen.
Mark has posted a poignant tribute on his blog. Rest in peace, Robert.
